Got a bit more done. Carbon fibre on dashboards, gloss black on motor, carbon fibre on leg, ordered finish trim, cup holders, rod holders, ninknaks. Coming along! Plenty of time before ice off. Good ol amazon. Ordered a whole kid of stainless nuts/bolts and mounting hardware. Seats will be the pricey part. But i figure ive gone this far.

Like that carbon fibre a lot. Excellent job so far, you are to be commended on it. Cannot wait to see the finished product.

Ps: When can I drop my boat off?

Kind of a neat project. Looks like fun & you're going to love it when you're on the lake.

Been a while.... moved on to interior. carpet on sides and floor, seats, window tint, cleaned up wiring etc. Likely wont get it on the water until next season. Only mechanical issue is a small leave on one of the trim hydraulic ram/piston things. Anyone have a guy in edmonton area that specializes in this sort of repair?

Been seeing more and more wraps and I'm curious what is involved in installing. I'm thinking its somewhat like installing a window film but have no clue. How do you shape and follow curves like on the bow of a boat without requiring buckling of what I assume would be flat stock roll material. Is that handled by a stretch factor? Any info would be appreciated. might be time for some utube.

The Colour is right. Do you think you could get a Cannabis company to sponsor you for a Walleye Tournament?

Now you have to get rid of that Chrysler "Tower of Power" hanging on the Stern.

That or get a really good set of paddles!!!

But then again, the Chrysler will belch lots of purple smoke so maybe it will complete the effect for the Sponsor.

google is your friend..

Basically heat gun, and/or adhesion promoter. You can stretch it pretty far, but the color can distort if pulled to far. It's almost like shrink wrap.
But abit of youtub'n can get you a lot of knowledge, along with practise.

My only comment would be, if you beach it or run in shallow, you could/will wreck the wrap. Not a big deal, just have to redo it.

I actually left the middle underside exposed.... bit of an eyesore when looking head on not in the water....but your right. A guy will have to watch for that. Have extra wrap too so after a few seasons a guy can replace pretty easy.

That looks wicked buddy! If I can squeeze in a free day before the wife pops I’ll have to come by and check it out... and have a few pops aswell of course! But as of right now it’s looking like the long weekend is the next time I’ll be home
