Digital cable TV

Anyone upgraded to this digital cable ?
Got an offer from Shaw to ugrade to digital for $3 more per month on my cable pkg. Do I need a special type of TV to see this hi res picture, or just my regular TV ? I guess there is a receiver box involved. Also my CBC has always been a bit fuzzy, will this digital come in crystal clear ?

Your pic will be clearier but if you want the best get an HD reciever along with a HD TV of course and use a Monster HDMI...AMAZING picture especially on sports and certain channels like Discovery,National Geo.
