Default Sunset Eyes

Here are some Pics of the Walleye I caught this evening. There is a 4lbs, 5.5lbs and a 7lbs der. I also lost a couple more one in the 4lbs range and one in the 7lbs range, but I couldn't tell for sure. The 7lbs one is 61cm long. All caught on a jig and minnow.

I agree that usually a 61cm walleye wouldn't usually be that big, but there is something about these ones, there somewhat stunted in length, but make up for it in gurth. I weighed them on a Berkley digital scale and it was right on 7lbs even.

Some of the southern reservoirs are producing some very chunky walleye.
Nice 'eyes. Mmmm, walleye cheeks.

It's lots of fun catching them and if they come in before it's too dark ther're only in about 10 feet of water that is crystal clear. Do you know what a 7lbs walleye looks like in 10 feet of water? It's awesome!!
