dispatching trapped fur bearers

Hi guys
can you tell me if
1 are you allowed to hunt in alberta on sundays

2 are you allowed to dispatch trapped furbearers with a gun on sundays.


I am the vice-president of the New Brunswick Wildlife Federation and we are currently trying to convince the government of New Brunswick to allow trappers to dispatch animals with the use of a firearm on sundays.

any info would be appreciated.

Hunter, I'll take a stab at answering your questions....

1. There are Sunday hunting zones for big game in Alberata...mostly in the north and west zones...but we can coyote hunt Sundays.

2. Yes, we can dispatch on Sunday.

3. Not posittive but I would say no, we cannot dispatch after dark . I think the general law says no shooting 30 min. after sunset.
