What kind of Info you looking for? Good luck getting in on it unless you know somone who has a team in there already. I guess there is a 5 or 6 year waiting list. The only way to gaurentee yourself an in is to win the Stavely Derby.

Feb shoot is 20-21 for the ringneck classic.
Stavely also has a large waiting list now.

Might be looking for some dog handlers for Feb. Brooks if anyone is interested.

It is not for those that are opposed paid hunting or canned hunts of pen raised animals on private land.
Actually, this isn't a hunt. It is a shoot. There is a difference. This is along the same lines as trap shooting only your using personally owned birds to shoot.
Not quite the same as paid hunting. But it is a canned shoot of pen raised animals on private land.

Well thats one way of looking at it.

Myself, I find it a bit of a challenge. The best we have ever done was a 65% recovery. The worst was this year at a 30% recovery. Its as chalenging as you want to make it.

I sure as hell wouldnt call it "Canned". It is a hunt. Perhaps not in its truesest sense.. But make have no doubts about it.. You are going to work for these birds. They fly, they run and they hide.

Good luck
Jamie

Right on, Jamie. Maybe see out there. We've participated in this one and others for several years.
I look at it as an opportunity to host several of my customers.
It funds 2 different programs including a youth hunter program, so I see that as another benefit.
