Default Spring Bear Still a Go

So has anyone heard anything about hunting seasons being canceled? Or is spring bear still rolling out.

Default bear

Alberta trappers are cleared to go to traplines and shoot our 6 bears. Essential service to "Mother Nature" and save a few calf moose.

Bear camps, where hunters eat together, sleep in the same location, and travel in the same vehicles with guides won't likely comply with social distancing. But that shouldn't effect most resident hunters.

Yeah or even people just riding in the same truck that don't live together.

Will roll solo, but I really hope the season in general doesn't get a red light...

Quading, fishing and hiking are still ok, as long as it doesn’t stage from a provincially controlled parking lot.
Why wouldn’t an individual be allowed to bear hunt?

I’m sure the kibosh if it comes will be through needing a “hall pass” to leave your house. That’s if it comes to that.

Just minimize contact with people, don't worry about the bears. It's going to be at least three weeks before it's time to get serious, a lot can change in that time.
