Default lucky FIVE today

Hadn't checked the trapline for four days - all five were caught during a full moon which obviously didn't hamper coyote habits nor their ability to avoid being caught.
I believe the cold weather combined with blizzard conditions was helpful.
All the hides exhibited "rubbing" on the hips ... earliest I've ever seen.

Look nice good job. I caught some today and one was also slightly rubbed . Not unusual for them to start this early, if u listen to the old fur buyers everything after Jan 1 is rubbed..lol.

Default rubbed fur and they're bunching up

I had cleaned-up my fur shed over the last few days with intention of shutting down for the season - now I'm back at it - plus viewed a count of 14-16 coyotes in a square mile of new territory that needs to be dealt with.
Maybe one more week !

Nice haul.....congrats. I was hanging snares today after the snow storm/wind and there were tracks everywhere. They sure were busy the last two days. Must have been hungry after having to hunker down.
