Default Woods Rotomold Coolers

Anyone have any first-hand experience with these? Crappy tire sells them, they look decent, they're priced decent but are they any good?

For example, $199.99 for an 80L

Thanks,

WTA

Mine kept ice for 2 weeks. Just 3 bags. It actually froze my milk and cream.

Change your store locator. The price varies by store. Screen shot taken just minutes ago.

They work well I have one that was subjected to a forest fire when we got back a week after it was one of the few things that survived the outside is a bit melted but the contents were still cool inside and it seems to still work just as good

Might have to check them out they seem to be way less $$$ then the Yeti. I can’t bring myself to spend $400 on a cooler. But that sale price of $199 seems more realistic. I have yet to see the anything with the name Yeti go on sale!!

I would try one but it seems no stores north of Edmonton have any or have them listed at $199.

For another $20 you can have one shipped from the Leduc store to your home in Edmonton area.

Can anyone confirm this is the 80L?
The ad says 80L but the picture in the CT link indicates 50L on the cooler.

I wonder if this like the ladders, clamps, socket sets, gun cabinets, and other items, that Canadian Tire sells regularly for a good deal at varying sale prices, but have an inflated "regular" price that few would actually ever pay.

Not saying I have a problem with this, but it is the way they often do business.

Might be. This was the biggest cooler for the best price. The 70L was $350 lol

I have one and it’s 100x better than my stainless steel Coleman. If they are still on sale next time I go to CT I’ll buy another one.

I have no doubt the Yeti’s are marginally better but not 2 or 3 times better.

This is an in-store clearance so other stores do not have to price match. And it is a discontinued item, so don't wait for them to go on sale again. They will blow them out until they are gone. Most stores have no stock.
The guy I talked to said they're not a huge mover as they are too big for most people. The 50L sells faster apparently. (they mistakenly have that in the picture)
I bought one today and they are indeed the 80L that are on sale. My red Coleman with white lid (not sure the size but most common size cooler out there) fits inside of this thing. It's a beast. Also weighs 30 lbs.
2 oversized ice packs that act as dividers and an elevated tray to keep your cheese from getting soggy.
Thanks for the head's up OP.
If anyone is in the market for a good cooler I wouldn't pass this one up.
