In my rifle, the 130gr Gamechanger, ahead of R-17. Averages sub 1/2moa for five shots.

You should ask on CGN. They love it over there. Come to think of it it’s loved here as well.

My Sako A7 Roughtech Range likes the 139 Scenar pushed with Rel 17. The smallest group is .40"...the largest is .50" These were the first groups I put through it with an untuned load.

Just like my 260rem, my 6.5x47, and my 6.5x55s. They all produced comparable accuracy, with a variety of loads.

Default 6.5 cm

Odd you should ask, RJ. Wasn’t aware that you’d developed a taste for avacado toast.....welcome to the club. My HB Axis likes 140 gr Fusion. Working on Hornady 140gr bthp and Nosler 130gr rdf next.

Yep
My 6.5x284 is just as accurate and the sd are just as tight
It’s just 400fps faster

What twist rate does that have for those? My HB Remington is a 1:8 and I thought it was supposed to be very borderline for the 143’s. I haven’t tried shooting them yet.

So far I’ve loaded up 143 grain ELDX’s over too of H4350. I have 5 loads worked up for now. Just need to get out with them.

1-8 RoT is plenty for the 147s.

H4350 or IMR4451 behind 140+ grain projectiles- mainly the 147 for us- have been gold in a half dozen different 6.5CM rifles now.

I did a lot of load development for a Bergara, and after testing many loads, I settled on the 147s with H4350. That was one of the fussiest rifles that I have ever developed loads for.

I have a 6.5x55 in remington action rebarreled with a 1:8 Jury barrel...yesterday I shot a 5 shot group with factory nosler accubond 140gr loads of .315.. the other 2 groups were .45 and .55 as the barrel heated up. I also shot a my old 95gr vmax loads developed for the the old factory 1:9 barrel at 3150fps into a 10 shot group just a bit bigger than a townie...all at 100m

I shot the factory 147’s really well, just inconsistent
Tried the 130 ar hybrids and it shot them well
But home rolled 147’s were deadly
Velocity is a whooping 2630 FPS
But I’ve shot 5 shot strings with an es of 3
And it drives tacks

How does a load shoot well but inconsistent? To me it's all about consistency.

For example
3 Shots in a row
All within 5 FPS
0.2 moa group
Next 5 shots
Velocity is 40fps higher
Or 30 FPS lower
Group opens up to an inch
So when I was developing a load I was searching for that speed
I found I could hit it consistently within a .6 gr window
So I load to the middle of that window now

Default 6.5

Marky_mark. Pics or it didn't happen. I've never seen a 6.5 for sale high end or budget that wasn't "a tack driver" lol. Makes me wonder why a guy would ever sell one

I haven’t come up with a compelling reason to reload for my 6.5 CM. All the factory loads I’ve tried are more than acceptable (well under 1 MOA for 3 shots and very similar POI at 100m with various bullet weights). I can buy factory ammo on sale and narrow the cost gap. Lets me save my bench time for other rifles. I’ve spoken to others with similar experiences.
