So I got a call back from a Loyalty Dept Manager. He looked at the account and worked with a share plan for both phones on the account.

$150 a month for 2 phones sharing 6 GB with unlimited canada calling, texting etc, caller id, call waiting, voicemail 3. Or $120 I believe for 2 GB

He quoted the normal rates for Data, no special rates.

There's a free app. called "hangouts" that gives you the ability to call anywhere in NA for free .I have it on my I phone and it works great. Nice when you have to call someone that is not on your list of "10 friends"

Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust in case anyone cares....

ALL the towers are owned by Telus/Bell and Wind. So you're either on Wind, or you're with ROMBULUS (Rogers/Bell/Telus). Basically find the best deal you can with whatever provider you can. The coverage is all the same and their network speeds are identical because they all share their infrastructure.

You mind find some differing deals when it comes to roaming or long distance, but the network is the same no matter what provider you're with.

For those that can't get a deal you likely aren't talking to the right people. You have to get a hold of the loyalty/retentions department in order to get a deal, the regular yahoos can't offer you anything other then the regular plans.

If you get sick enough of Telus switch over to Bell. I have had pretty good customer service through them and coverage is just as good(both way better then Rogers). I have even got out of a couple charges I probably should have had to pay(like a $27 phone call to my bank while travelling). I get pretty close to the equivalent of their $60 plan for $42 now and it will be month to month after my contract ends in a couple months.

Edit: To the guy above me, Roger's coverage is horrible and no where near the same as Bell or Telus. Bell and Telus are pretty much the same but Roger's is a joke. Luckily when I was with Roger's I was able to get out of my contract because they didn't provide service where I was up north.
