Bethune, Sask
Hello,
I know there are a lot of folks from Sask. on here so............. I am headed to the K + S Potash Mine for about two years for a const. project. I would like to hit some horse sales, equipment auctions etc., in my spare time and maybe a few horse events etc. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about the area. How about any good farm equipment wrecking yards ?
Thanks in advance !

Clavet SK has combine world
its one of the largest combine wreckers in Canada
as for other farm implements just go for a drive you might just see some older farm equipment sitting in older farm yards but remember once a Sask farmer get his hands on it it turns to the price of gold, aint worth bird crap if he's paying you for it though

Check this site out for auctions. Theyre out of nearby Davidson & work a huge area. They update their website with upcoming auctions. http://www.manzauction.com/ As far as horses, no idea. You will have to become a Rider fan that close to Regina.

A few miles south of Moose Jaw is the Sukanen Ship Museum: http://www.sukanenmuseum.ca/frames.html
Their fall threshing bee is quite interesting.
