Default "Canadian Access to Firearms"

I was at the "sportsman's show" in RedDeer last night. At the Canadian Shooting Sports" display I picked up a "news paper format" publication that I thought was "The Gun Runner".

It was "Canadian Access to Firearms" and is just like the gun runner.

There is a section in the back listing all sorts of gun shows all over canada.

There are sure a lot in Alberta. Even looks like one is planned for Rocky Mtn. Hse. in August. I better get in touch with the Rocky Rod and Gun club and see if I can help them out with this.

I am surprised that you weren't previously aware of the existence of the Canadian Access to Firearms publication.

I have been receiving this paper for a few years now. The one thing I use it for most is to compare prices from across Canada on the same item. For example on a Sako 85, I have seen the prices vary as much as $500.It's not hard to tell if someone is charging too much with this as a resource.

Gun Runner still around? Haven't seen their booth at a show, in a couple of years. Bought a few copies of Shotgun News, very frustrating cause I can't buy most of the neat stuff.

Access to Firearms came on the scene in the late 80's, ....serious competition to The Gunrunner. After a few years, the Gunrunner folded in the early 90's. Miss the Gunrunner, had every issue until it went down.
