Default Jackfish Lake Derby Saskatchewan

Had the opportunity to head out to the big derby in north battleford yesterday. Extremely cold weather with long lines and a ton of people but had an awesome day. Very fun to be a part of. I was able to place 8th and win a whole bunch of new gear! Included in everything was a vexilar ice sonar ( FL-12 Pro Pack) and an Ht Polar escape 2 man sled style tent. Looking to trade these two items as i dont have much use for either. Hoping to trade them straight across for a marcum vs825 or even a 625. Also got one of those little strike master glide lite sleds. Doesnt really suite the style of fishing I do and i find no use in selling it so if anyone would like it just send me a PM. I live in the edmonton area.

All in all a great derby!!

Nice work. How big was your fish? My buddy caught a 2.75 lb jack but was under the weather and we failed to check for prizes. Sure hoping he wasn't in for something good. Cold day but pretty good time I thought.

Betcha that was a fun ride home with all that new gear. Too bad my 2.5 lb pike didn't quite make the cutoff.
