Default RDR round 2

Went back to try some new spots but most were blocked off. Fished some of the spots I found last week.

First fish was a nice walleye on the sinking line. Hard to tell from the pics but pretty much close to 5 lbs.

Caught more walleye but nothing as big as the first. The guys next to me in a boat did well and caught an 8 lb walleye.

Caught a lot of nice goldeye in the afternoon. After they hit the pink indicator I tied on a stimulator and caught some that way
Perfect weather and a great day to be out.

Nice looking fish! It's funny you said they were hitting the pink indicator. Yesterday I thought I'd get creative and tie a tiny pink balloon to my line to use as a strike indicator...well the goldeye kept coming up and popping the balloons, lol. Kinda funny watching them go after it and then all of a sudden you hear this POP!!

LOL! That is funny. The stimulator has some pink at the front and that is why I picked it....why pink?
Yeah...that is natural. If you ever want to feel like a hero after getting owned by brown trout on the dry, tie on a pink fly and go for goldeye. ....that even rhymes
