No really sure how "Vince" could see what was in the eye of the moose.

And fb has helped convict many acts.
Dummies for posting it.

Default There were no moose harmed in this video.

At least he can still say he rode a moose.

Pittance for what they really did!!

One dead cow and a calf left to fend for it's self...

But the courts look at wildlife as an annoyance and waste of time, so not really a surprise!!

Cheers

Where do people come up with this stuff? Fear in her eye's? Dead cow and calf?
It was a stupid and dangerous thing to do, but lets not get ridiculous.

Couldn't have been any booze involved there eh? Great idea to jump on the moose's back. For his next act, jump out of a tree and ride a grizzly

4 grand is a good chunk of change. But why not make it 40,000.00. That'll get a lot more attention and act as more of a deterrent.

Just think what it cost to process and investigate the incident. 4,000 dissent even break even.

A deterrent to what? Jumping on a mooses back?
I think the chance of getting wolloped with her feet would be Deterrent enough for most.
I don't think this is a regular occurrence.
I've swam many horses across rivers and none of them needed councling.
Well maybe one.

When I was young we used to jump on a pig for a short but exciting ride none of them needed counselling.

Interesting
$4000 for riding a moose and some other fellows received a $3800 fine for smuggling prohibited handguns across the border a much more serious crime, I think our court system is really a mess.

Lets make it Ten Million Dollars and 40 years in prison. That will REALLY, REALLY, send a message to all those groups of Marauding Moose Riders out there.

They did something stupid and I'm pretty sure that $8000 in fines between them is plenty enough to teach these guys a lesson. It's not quite as stupid as someone forgetting to take their meds and then getting on a Greyhound Bus... But I guess criminals are criminals and they're all the same in some eyes.

I should have made my post more clear. 40,000.00 fine for harassing wildlife in general.

These clowns and the poachers of this world constantly receive a tiny yank on their peepee if they actually got strung up by their balls and kicked hard enough then those that might think poaching and wildlife harassing is cool might just think twice.

There are many threads on this site where we complain about poachers getting off to easy. Hit them and where it hurts and hit them hard! Send a message.

The cost to investigat and prosecute these clowns far exceeds 4000.00 a piece.

It's time to take back what's ours before we loose it all to the azzhats of the world.

It's been awhile since I saw the video but I do recall the Moose looking a tad distressed (kind of the same look our dog gets when the cat decides to torture it ) As far as dead cow and calf - I don't remember hearing anything about that.

Edit: just re-watched it no way to tell if the animal was distressed based on facial expression, other than obviously being distressed by what that idiot did...What a d-bag

$4,000 each sounds fair to me, as long as the moose wasn't injured.

Bet they don't do that again!

These weren't poachers.

It was a bloody moose who was briefly annoyed.

Should not even have been investigated.

You're missing my point. People who harass or poach should be hammered with the full force of the law. 4000.00 is squat! 40,000.00 gets the attention of these clowns.
