Is this just a box of bullets
If so they may be for loading a 6.5 carcano

I was wanting a carcano just because I like shooting old stuff but the bullet diameter is the hang up with me. There isn't too many companies that make it.

I had never heard of a Vergueiro until yesterday. Then at the Grimshaw show, I spotted a rifle I thought was a Carl Gustav M96.

I have always liked the M96 Mauser so I went to check it out. What I found was a Vergueiro. Having never heard of them before I didn't even make an offer. I wanted to learn more about it first.

But it looked like a fine rifle, as good as any M96 as I have ever seen.

Then I learned from google that is was made for a .262 diameter bullet and was glad I had passed on it. I figured I would never find such a thing as a .262 bullet. Now I learn that even that may not be what I thought.

I guess I should have made an offer, low enough that I could re-barrel it if I couldn't find the right components.

It is after all, a good quality K98 action for all intents and purposes.
