We live in a rich land
We drove from east central Alberta to near the American boarder. Hour after hour and mile after mile, fields of wheat, canola, barley, lentils, corn, potatoes, and where there was no crops,it was cattle. Mixed in are oil and gas wells. All the while on paved hiways. Took a different route back and no difference in the wealth of the county side.

Is world class. Can’t find that much diversity in any other province or state.
Poorly managed by the incompetent from a wildlife standpoint.

Agree. My job takes me to the country lots and I get to see the same on many side roads and secondary highways.

Wouldn't live anywhere else. All the other provinces are nice to visit but there really is no place like home.

Lucky we survived the 4 years of n.d.p...just need to fix things in Ottawa and sheez game on. Hold your heads high fellow albertans. Cut from a different cloth we are. Hard working, able to soldier on thru the tough times without begging for handouts. Pretty much set the standards and developed the technology for the whole worlds oil and gas sectors. Farmers and industry worked together instead of fighting each other for the most part. That's the only way to succeed. We all need each other. 4th generation born and raised albertan. Sadly seen our fishing go the wrong way but I hire saskatchewan boys all the time so it doesn't bother me to fish over there. I'm done with the fishing here as of this year. Just getting the paperwork for a recreational property in saskie as we speak. Thanks 'Berta.

Lovely
Lovely image.
I think everyone should have to drive across Canada at least once in their life.
It's pretty much required to get any real sense of the sheer vastness of our country.
