just thought i would post an update to this question i had awhile back. I did what you all said and looked up Korth online. i sent them an email indicating the issue i was having with them. they instructed me to send them back yadayadayada. So i packaged them up and shipped. that was about a month ago. just got home with them and they were replaced, no questions asked. no arguments, no F-bombs, no promise of a first born. just straight up standing behind the product they sell. looks like Leupold has a dedicated customer. i will be sending them an acknowledgement as well. thanks to all that posted and helped out. later, Calvin..
