Default NHL Thread Official

Well so far an interesting day of sloppy play, obvious lack of conditioning but man do I enjoy seeing the Nux getting spanked lol

And if your just gonna post how they're a bunch of selfish over paid etcetc ...don't bother I'll delete it..this is for folks that want to follow it and engage in some good natured trash talk

I'm a leafs fan and as much as I can say I loved watching them win, I hate when the only reason they win is because the other team sucked worse then they did.

I was hoping Anaheim would light up Schneider, watching him get pulled for louongo was hilarious. Schneider's good, Lou's better ... In the regular season anyway keep Corey for the playoffs.

Weird scores, bad play, sleepy looking players. I think the play offs are going to looks lot different this year. Traditionally slow starters like van and cal are going to find it a lot harder to catch up, IMO

You'll get us next time bud. Good to see Markov back for you guys and Price was great as usual. Gorges hit in the first period was great.

And did I actually see kaberle shoot?

Jagr with 4 points, Selanne with 3 points so far. Its good to see these ageless wonders continue to perform. This season will be the most exciting in years. Looking forward to the Flames season opener tomorrow. And its great to see the Nucks get smacked around

Default Iginla to be traded???

Looks like the Flames are looking to trade Iginla to a team with Stanley Cup prospects.

He's worn out his time in Calgary...

Where should he go?

Or should this go on NHL official thread?

From what I heard today, teams on his list are CHI, LA, BOS, and PIT as per Darren Dreger.

As much as I love Iggy, it would be nice to see him move on to a team that has a chance to win the cup.

LA actually makes sense, D Sutter has said publicly he wants him, LA isn't far from either of Jaromes residences in Calgary and the Okanogan, LA is a contender..
Would be cool to see him in Boston or Pittsburg though...
