I know that spot, it's called zipper lip lake and you hooked right in the corner of the yap
Nice fish and great pics guys and gals!
Question on a what is considered a large Lynx?
Been offered one from a licensed trapper here in BC.
He says it is a 30 lb. female and is frozen in the round.
Trapped a couple days before Christmas...
Thanks for sharing your adventure and shedding some insight/ information.

30 pounds is a big female.
Biggest one I ever caught was 34.9 pounds.
And he was 7 pounds heavier than the next biggest.

30 pounds is a giant female
Biggest I've ever seen was a 38 pound male, but his belly was solid with rabbit.

Good work on the cross foxes as well TEH ! I've been trying to get one for the better part of 20 years and have failed to date. I missed one years ago that was running down my snowmobile trail and I've seen one other one in a farmers yard.
Other then that not a one. Starting to think I'm cursed lol

I have only ever seen one cross fox. Was lucky enough to get a bullet in him. Shouldn't have sold him looking back now. He had some of the best colours I have yet to see.
Congrats on the critters guys.
That one beaver looks like a good one 6mm

Hate to see this thread struggling.
Sucks seeing this thread struggling, I guess we have finally fought enough to discourage each other. Sucks. Here is a perfect catch on a prime female coyote from yesterday.

Nice wolves Nube and Mark, and thanks martin for sharing your pic of your area, really enjoy seeing all the different trapping pics.
Looks like the kids enjoy it as well, thats how i got started, catching weasels.
I took my family out over New Years and enjoyed the time away. had a good check on the line, and set more cubbies still hoping for a wolverine to pass through.
Lynx i got on a cross over on top of a dam, i noticed lynx where using it as a crossing point so i used a log for a drag and hung a snare.
Worked like a charm. IMG_4122.jpg
Had a good number of marten, so i decided to take down most sets as we are getting into jan breeding and was seeing more females in the catch.

As we were eating lunch in the cabin a weasel came and stole a squirrel on the snowmobile seat, so my son chase him around the cabin for a while.
Brave weasel, he would have run up my leg if i would have let him.
