Default Help Scoring two deer

Looking for a little help scoring these two deer. Both great deer, just need a little help judging what they would score.

Thanks for in advance

If you get a chance with a bow or a rifle on either deer I would not hesitate. Both are exceptional deer. To me score means nothing if the hunt is memorable.

Default Help scoring

Who cares what they score. If you get a chance at either one, take it!

Both around that 165” gross mark with all the extras...to me the buck with the triple brow Would be the one to go for despite the weak g4 on the right...velvet always makes them look a lot bigger too...both great deer...ur lucky

Mid to high 160 gross if I had to guess, triple brow time deer would be my choice of the 2

You take the one on the left and I'll take the one on the right.
Then after we can score them together, lol.
I would say just 160, I like those stickers tho.

I agree with the above 160 +. And your right the velvet does make them look a little bigger. Bow zone deer? Imagine a year or two more growth
Best of luck! Pics this fall.

One has 10” on the other and at least one maybe two years on him too. If they in same spot there’s only one to hold out for. They both still on way up so either way there’s gonna be two to chase for awhile.

The one with the mass, longer mains, and split brow on left as you look at him is the boss of those two.

I’d say the one on the left will go 158 while the one on the right will go 146, give or take a couple inches.

Agree, when velvet comes off you’re right there Kurt. They look a little extra right now.😉

I luv these scoring threads. Opinions are.... well...? Some seasoned ( and successful) deer hunters throw out their numbers. I hope he is successful and we see some pics.

I think 40” would even be on the high side.

Great looking bucks you have on cam! Always nice to have more than 1 good one.

Skinny necks and in velvet make'em all look like 180 class but when the dust settles 150 class....

I agree the first one has almost 50” of mass until the velvet comes off. I’ve seen how many inches are lost once the velvet comes off, hopefully the op gets some pics in September or October, it’ll be nice if we can see the transformation. Unfortunately 170’s turn into 150’s.

For reference, the deer in my avatar has 50” of mass, no velvet.

Sure looks like he is gonna have 40 inches of mass after the velvet peels. He should hit 170 gross or very close.👍

I saw on another site that you were able to tag one of these bucks. So what did he end up scoring? I’m curious how close some of the guesses were

ya i think velvet off that last one will run just a little under 160 gross, that one sticker might push him to 160, the other won't make an inch
