Easier to hide behind a keyboard or phone than deal with an issue in person.

Sounds like we are all on the same page except the BBB.
The Contractors did come over and made good with the wife while I was at work as I found out much later this evening.
I except their apology .

Please close Thread
So, with this information, how do you think things would have gone if you popped over and said politely 'Hey boys, there's young kids here that can hear every word you say. Could you tone down the language, please? '

Went On line to BBB . and the response I got today :

If any of our contractors use fowel language it was not directed to anybody personally. There is always frustration on construction jobsites. This does not reflect on how proffessional we are on our jobs. Thank you! "

Wow this was shocking to hear this from BBB Contractors.
Was expecting to hear a sorry they should now better !
My daughter had a similar experience a few months ago, only she didn't contact BBB, she went directly to the crew foreman and very politely but forcefully expressed her displeasure with the language being used.

The man apologized and the language ended.

My daughter is a force to be reckoned with, and it doesn't hurt that she is drop dead gorgeous and very very intelligent.

No, I am not biased. LOL

Four letter words are more prevalent today, online ,on TV and as always from kids who have no proper manners.

It's part of every language. And is an age old problem.
Kids are going to learn the words one way or another. Whether we want them to or not.

Educate your kids on manners and appropriate language skills.

And if it continues take the kids to a kid friendly area and avoid it.

Nice weather we have been having,

Get out there and enjoy it with them.

Better than a less than satisfactory response from BBB

There is no reason for them to swear especially if working in a occupied residential area. You swear for no good reason on my site your gone. Just because they hear it at school doesn't mean they need do hear it every where. I guess manners and common sense left together.

It's an age old problem
Censorship is not what it was
Kids will always find out elsewhere
You can't avoid it.

It's like sex.
Sooner or later they get over exposure to it ,
Whether you like it or not.
