I just checked our lightning detection system and it looks as though your weather is headed this way. It's on the South side of the lake now so probably hammering away down there. The lake usually splits it up pretty well......hopefully......lightning makes my day pretty miserable

Unfortunately I'm a real life Homer Simpson (he's more responsible though...nuclear...I'm just a hydro dude....and yes I got one of those little birds that never stops on my desk )

If we get hit it takes me 20 minutes or so to build her back up if all goes OK.....and that is 20 minutes I can't monitor the AO Forum

Stupid lightning.......although I do miss the prairie shows

Hang tight Savage. They're probably the same cells that rolled through here this morning/afternoon. Shouldn't be too bad though, they usually air on the side of caution.

I'm with TM on the lightning thing. I've taken down lots that have been hit, and they do some pretty wonky and dangerous things. Also had a bolt strike a tree close enough to the one that I was in that I could SMELL it and had my hair stand on end for a while afterwards!

Default Only rained twice

Only rained twice in Airdrie this week once for 3 days and then for 4 more.

You know what follows 2 days of rain? Monday...
