Default boito hiker

anyone familiar with the boito hiker. The barrel is stamped 410 3 inch can I still fire 2 3/4 shells?

Yes you can. Actually 2 3/4 is the length after the shell has been fired. before being fired they are really 2 1/2 inch.

I measured the 410 shell, it measures 2 1/4 unfired

Yes you can fire the shorter shells in a gun that has a 3" chamber. The problem is the other way around. You can't fire a 3" shell if the gun was only chambered for 2 1/2".
