Thought I heard that the F&W had to take down a cow moose that was at large with her calves, in the city limits. Reported that she charged one of the ossifers, who shot her. What would you think she would do to protect her own if anyone got to close....dig a hole and cover her calves....duh !!
Doug, do not have all the details but we both know and aggressive cow moose protecting her calves can be quite dangerous, especially in middle of small city like St. Albert.
