Default PAL and Hunting license in Calgary area

Does anyone know where one would get their PAL in the Calgary area? Moved here a week ago from Lac La Biche and since I'm no longer living with my dad who has his, figured it's time I got mine. I did the course two years ago but never applied for the PAL since I was 16, do i still need to redo the course? Also Where would I go to get hunting licenses come hunting season? Any help is appreciated thanks. Couldn't remember my old accounts password so I'm new on here again lol

If you have passed the firearms course, you don't need to take it again. Have you taken and passed your Alberta Hunter Education course?

Ok cool thank you , I'll go fill out the paper work and apply for a restricted firearms course this week while I'm at it. Also Yes I have the hunting course on my WIN card , I've hunted water fowl the last two years up north but I'm not sure where I would go to get the migratory bird license here in Calgary , or even where any crown land is around here.

You will have to take the restricted course. You can't just go and apply for it because you have your pal.
Any Canadian Tire should be able to sell you your licenses

I know there's a course, I said apply for the restricted course, maybe register for the course would have made more sense? But ok thank you, from a small town only one place gave out hunting licenses never knew Canadian tire did.

You can get licenses righ5 from albertarelm.ca. I usually get my tags from Sylvester st. It's a ten minute walk from my house.

Welcome to the forum.
