Default Pigeon lake ice

Im heading out to Pigeon tomorrow to enjoy a super day on the ice but i was wondering how is the access onto the ice at Mulhurst?I saw a picture of a huge ice heave and im hoping it is along the shore somewhere away from the boat launch. Also how much snow cover is out there?Im just guessing with all the melting it will be very slippery out now. Thanks in advance for info and best of luck to all that are headed out for a great week of fishing.

Saturday there was a crust about 8" above the ice with 4" of new snow above the crust that made driving a bit of a pain. The ice heave at the north end of the lake is pretty long, and cuts off a lot of the lake, but there's still good areas east of the heave that you can catch fish. I didn't bother walking up to the heave as my regular spot was east of the heave

Was out today. Went on near golden days beach. Wasn't perfect but it was passable. Once you are on the ice it's fine. A little slushy in spots but nothing to worry about.

Just drove down to check it out, easy access on pp multiple small cars on the ice and no snow on the ice.

Easy access on pp, very poor fishing at all depths, we now drive from pp right over to grand view no problem but you cannot get across ice heave we are going to try this until dark, nothing on the camera yet

If you fish at PP, bring ice cleats or other such grip enhancers....very slick.
