Talking Blackett,Kinnard and Spencer Lakes

Any body been out there this yr. We are going up in a couple of wks with the sleds. Not keen on possession limits, but should be a good time to explore these lakes, have never been there. Should be fun running from lake to lake, any thoughts.

I have not been there for a couple years now. Always found it hit and miss. Usually more miss than hit but they are fun lakes to fish. Be prepared to move around lots to find the big perch. You might want to consider going to Dabb's as well while you are there. Smaller but more perch and some nice sized pike. Good luck and enjoy.

Lots of flood water and a foot of snow.. Tough going up there all over the place. Had to stick to old frozen over ski doo tracks. Expect it to be even worse now. I was up there 2 weeks ago

Haven't been up to Blackett & Jackson since the end of Dec, it was hit & miss. Only 4 perch the first time out & a little better 2nd time around, 11 perch, lots of small jacks, pickerel all under 40 cm. Hits didn't happen till late in the afternoon, 3:30'ish. Fished hard, punched tons of holes, moved around. Don't know how it has been lately.

Lots of ice on Spencer, at least 2 feet of good ice, was there on Saturday, caught lots of walleyes, caught a couple of pike to. Caught smaller and bigger than the size limit, lots of slush and water on the lake be careful. Good luck
