Benelli Super Black Eagle II and never look back. They aren't cheap but they're great.

See which one fits you best, and go from there.

X2.

Check out outdoor essentials. I picked up a new one for under $1500 this spring.

I have an older Beretta thats about 15 years old and its never let me down once or jammed. Just keep it clean and you will have no regrets. I cant comment on the Benelli semi auto as I have never fired one but I do have a Nova pump which is also a great gun. Either brand you will be happy with I think just pick the one that fits you best

I'd never shot one until a couple weeks ago but now that I have, I think it cured my need for a Super Black Eagle. That is one soft shooting gun.

That's what Im' looking to buy. 28" 3". How did you like it? All the reviews I've seen and read, everyone seems to enjoy theirs.

Exactly, it's plastic, who cares if the finish gets a few marks? It doesn't get carried on a quad or in a canoe, but my favorite field gun is a Grade 6 Citori 20 gauge skeet gun.

Although my guns are all wood and some are pretty high end jobs the have and will get hunted from canoes, etc.
However, if the weather is nasty out, I will use the Pedersoli
hammer double that day - that is what it was boiught for!
