Default Vx-3i Lrp 4.5-14X50 Sfp VS Viper Hs Lr 4-16x50 Sfp

Narrowed my research to these two scope for my 300wm. I have not the chance to see both of the scope at my local store so i cannot cut it.

Leupold VX-3i LRP 4.5-14X50 SFP TMOA

VS

Vortex Viper Hs LR 4-16X50 SFP BDC

The leupold is slightly more $ but has a crazy elevation adjustement of 110moa.
Wish i could see it in real to see how the elevation turret feel if its well made. Leupold a better choice overall?

Both good choices, put the Leupold against the vortex on a foggy, or gloomy day, and you will go with the Leupold every time!

I have a couple vipers and 3 VX3. The leupold glass isnt nearly as good as the vortex and im not a big fan of vortex.

Get the Leupold.

I have a few. I only had one vortex, and will not have another.

I have 5 vortex viper scopes and one vx1 and I find the leupold to be better glass other than that the vortex gave more features for less money. But the
Leupold is sharper image.

You either have cataracts, or an aversion to the truth.

You can not tell if a scope will suite you, looking at a picture, any more than going by another persons eyes. Take a look for yourself, and decide what you like. Three people looking through three different scopes, will give you three different opinions.

At a glance you are absolutely right, the turret system on the vortex is a great bang for the buck, and very fun to learn, however unless your planning on shooting thousands of rounds at different distances, you may find the turret system on the leupold just as useful!, if you plan on hunting (specially in the morning, and sundown), you will benefit from using the vx3 hands down!
