I flesh then wash in cold water with dog shampoo then rinse in clean water hang then wring out as much access water as possible by grabbing up near head and squeeze down towards tail,i hang overnight then board fur in next morning,no fans at this time for me,i keep my garage at 50-60 F as this is supposed to be a preferred temperature,next morning I turn fur out then lots of fans,have yet to tear one during this process,but keep eye on hide if your using fans when leather side out and higher drying temperature as leather will dry quicker and turning will have to be done sooner IMO,cheers,hope this helps
