Default Interesting taxidermy deer mount.

This is an interesting way of doing a deer mount. Not quite the same mood. What do you think?

Yup, I could put one together for you if you want.

I can't guarantee that the bones will be in the right place though.

I saw on Facebook tonight Jim Shocky has the same thing but with a moose he shot last year. Can't say I'm a fan of the full skeleton mount, just doesn't do it for me. Looks like something you would see in the dinosaur area of a museum.

Tell you what Dave . I'll supply the glue and we'll see what you come up with.
Damn! That looks like a lot of work to make something creepy. I'll stick to the heads (which a lot of people think are creepy also).

I'm not a big fan. I'd feel like I was in a dinosaur museum as well.

What's up with the shoulder blades on Shockey's moose???? It looks like it has a little set of wings coming off it's back.

It's not for me. I'm a big fan of euro mounts, but I just don't like the lower jaw bone on the skull. As for the rest of the skeletal structure... I'm not a fan.

This mount in my opinion is ok, and bad. What deer looks sideways while mid jump over a hedge row? Skeleton mount is ok, realism from the taxidermist is lacking.

Ya odd mounts for sure.
Not sure the moose shoulder blades are supposed to be that high.
Looks like Shockey is reaching in for a tickle, ha.

When she's not looking, reach into her purse and take them back. They really are yours if you were born with them

As for the skeleton...nope. That's a waste of good bone broth and dog treats.

Not a tickle, a reach around... Lol...

Not my cup of tea, but hey, never have seen it before, so interesting way of taxidermy if it looks half decent...

That could be. I was thinking that they might have died from some sort of flesh eating disease.

Exactly my thought when I saw it. Every deer I've seen looks forward when jumping.
