The ndp is going to turn the whole unit into a hot yoga studio.
And rename the highest peak "Mount Nenshi"

So a better place to go elk hunting would be 412. You can run a quad in there.

Go behind Beaver Mines lake towards Gladstone falls, or go down the southcastle trail and into font creek area these are both good areas for Elk.

Hahahaha I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised by the lack of yogis out there.

412 is probably the last place I'd go hunt anything. I've seen a wolf out there in broad daylight, middle of the day and tons of tracks everywhere. The only thing that isn't spooky as hell in there are the muley does, which you can't hunt anyway if I remember correctly.

It's basically 400 on steroids. Campers, quads, dirtbikes and guys shooting targets everywhere, always. The transalta road in November is like deerfoot trail in rush hour.

Once I camped on a ridge overlooking the trans alta rd on the friday night of labour day...... I could see a steady stream of headlights, bon fires, the odd burst of sks fire....was a beautiful thing to behold.
