Just wondering how folks did on this last sale . Anyone get a good price on their catch ?Looks like the market is down to expected levels for late season .

We had 9 coyotes bought back, averaged just a hair over $80.00 cdn. with one going for $7.00 even one damaged was bought back. We have a dozen ermine that we shipped last year in this sale. This year we kept our lynx, marten, rats and ermine, one mink, one skunk one fox and one wolf.

I think that the buyers made off like bandits at this fire sale. It was almost as if the buyers didn't want the fur but at the prices that they could get it for they bought it anyway. On the upside it was nice to see most of my fur sell and more or less wipe the slate clean. Good thing that I'm not trapping just for the money.

I found it interesting that the top lot coyote was 5 lots down in the catalogue and sold for more than the *I's

Yeah I had one in the 43105 lot and a couple in the 43108 lot...overall happy with the price...had a couple of late ones in there that brought the average down but oh well...was thinking of holding back until next year but can't see the coyote price holding out

Yes , congrats pikeslayer on having the hi seller .. I didnt check the catalog but was wondering if there were any of those infamous " no color " coyotes on this sale like there was on the last one . Overall it sounds like coyotes still sold decent for it being the tail end of the season .

Due note on your online auction report, the "fine print" in the top left hand corner...

Sales Summary
By Size & Grade
Breeders Excluded
Section III Excluded
June-02-16

Sorry to rain on any's parade!

I thought it was a good sale in the coyote dept. I think I only had two grade as semi heavies. I had hardly any damage. I averaged very well in light of this.
(it does help to have a few put up tricks up your sleeve tho too!)

I sold 11 of the 20 I offered and held the rest till next year. Wasn't to disappointed with the price I got, thought it was going to be worse all the ones I sent we're end of the year coyotes. I got 66$ average.

Our lynx and fisher took a kicking as well. They gave them away on this sale my 2 cents.

Did you find out yet? You have to go to your NAFA account at NAFA.ca and all of the info is there.

I got my notice in the mail.

red fox sold for $2.... come on. it was huge.

best coyote was $130, averaged 70$ for the 5 of 9

3 damaged ones sold for 9/each.
one yote not sold.

How do I find out how to improve my fur offerings? I didn't think 3 of my yotes were damaged and none were damaged along the top behind the head / between the front shoulders.

I got a top lot wild mink! Cats could have been better! I was expecting a poor sale so most of my furs went to auction. So glad I took them in when I did. If I had waited another 3 weeks they all would have been lost in the fire!

Congrats on the top lot coon, H380.

I always thought that top lot meant the highest selling lot for the species but I was happy to find a couple of certificates, XL Western Beaver and Central Muskrat, in the mail. These are my first so they were a nice "atta boy".
