Default Ice/Snow condition at Fawcett Lake & area

Hey Guys & Gals
I'm heading up to Fawcett Lake area and was wondering how the flood ice condition is?

I'm also hoping to hit up a side lake that requires 4x4 in summer. Would a truck with good tires make it through the bush right now up there?

Thanks guys!
Tim

I think if you had chains on your tires you would be OK, or possible a second truck behind to pull you out. You'll need 30" tires and great ground clearance. There was 12" of snow on Utikima, probably double in the bush.

Thanks for all the help guys! Looks I'll just hit up Fawcett and pull my sleds to my fishing spot. Done it before just not nearly as fun. Good thing I'm bringing some teens along to be my porters!

2 or 3 pressure ridges on fawcett as well. Right around the middle-middle east of the lake. One goes all the way across. Might be tricky to get a truck up, over and past it with the snow, flood water and rotten top layer of ice. When I was out there I had to take a run at it and there wasn't nearly as much snow.

Not to say you can't make it or that it is that terrible. I haven't been since my first trip in late jan. I just can't imagine the conditions have improved with the recent weather.
