Default Pistol barrel break in

Being that this is my first centerfire pistol (CZ 75B Omega) and also being that I go through a barrel break in procedure for my long guns. My question is that should I go through a similar break in procedure for my pistol?

Robs Pistol break in procedure:
1 Load magazine
2 shoot 10 rounds through pistol
3 repeat step one until you are out of ammo or your thumb is too sore to load magazine

X2. I also clean my pistols after every outing.

None of my pistols are match grade, and neither is your CZ75B. So just have fun shooting it. If your barrel wears out after 10K plus rounds, then buy another barrel. They are cheap.

x3! If you find the gun has a lot of ftf's and the slide fit is really tight, consider going 500+ rounds between cleanings (not the mags though). It hasn't hurt any 1911 I have ever owned, or the 226 I shoot most often now. Remember, these things are designed to function for the military, and are designed to be "bullet proof". Shoot it lots and have a great time with it!
