Ya bait under a bobber or cast out on a pickerel rig. No finesse needed.

Haha me too. Once you find any kind of concentration there might be no better way to catch a walleye. I use slip bobbers though for way easier casting and depth adjustment. Bonus is the kids love fishing bobbers. Keeps them engaged

Yep lol it will never get old watching a bobber go down! Even while fly-fishing where they call it an indicator to make it sound fancy lol

Slip bobbers would definitely be the better choice but I was only fishing 4-5fow.

I fish the south part of the province so I was just curious. Haven稚 kept a walleye in so many years, probably forgot how to filet one. Lol

Am I the only one that only watches fishing videos when they use a net to land them?

Sounds like it. Very tough getting a 50 cm on that lake. Nice size perch if you know the area

They are all the same lol I don't usually name locations but the walleye bites on fire at every lake right now.

True this, except for when fishing big baits for big pike... that is something else entirely IMO. That suspense I feel when the bobber goes down, as I try and judge the right moment to set the hook... for me its like nothing else.
Bobbers are far from my favorite method of fishing, but that little time lapse between the moment a pike takes my float down and I decided to set the hook and find out how big she is... I friggin' live for that feeling.

That's something I want to try is hanging a full herring under a huge red and white bobber for 20 pounders, now that would be a rush watching that bobber go down!
