Auction Report 3.6.2009 - Increasing Prices for Blue Fox

Renewed interest in Saga ® Blue Fox resulted in 10-15% increasing prices (in Euros) for the regular skins during today’s sale. Lowgrades sold at high prices in relation to regular goods. The offering of 340.000 skins was 98% sold, main buying Hongkong/China with good support from Turkey, Russia and Europe.

Blue Fox is making a return into fashion, with many international textile companies using exclusively Saga ® Blue Fox in their collections. This, combined with the fact that the remaining offering of the season will be limited, is the main reason behind the price increase.

The offering of 48.000 Blue Shadow Fox sold almost 90% under good competition at 10-15% increasing prices. Buying was well spread between Hong Kong/China, Russia, Turkey and Europe.

A collection of 37.000 Finnraccoon was 75% sold at very firm to 5% stronger prices compared with our March auction. Buying was well spread with Europe, Korea, Turkey and Russia all active.

The auction will continue tomorrow with the various fox types.
