Raw or dressed skins Are they handle properly for taxidermy or wall hangers?

The fellows on the adjacent trapline from ours got a nice male wolverine..they sold it (confirmed) for $1100.00 raw which is exceptional but it did have some unique markings...I think you got a heck of a deal, raw never mind if they are processed!!!

They will run from 450 - 600.
1100 that is just exceptional to say the least.

I see them all the time for 650 tanned for taxidermy !

Default Wolverines.

They were frozen whole.I had them bussed right to my taxidermist.I am getting a full mount and a rug done,Actually i sold one to my buddy for 300.00
My taxidermist charges me 700.00 to do a live mount so i will have 1000.00 dollars into the mount when compleated.Ive so always wanted one.Couldnt wait any longer thinking that mabey some day i could get my own on a hunt up there.Anyways i think i did alright compared to what you fellas have said so far.Thanks.

You have done very good in the amount of money that you will have into it. I bought my fur for 600 (Tanned and ready to go) and all said and done I have 900 into it. I mounted it myself.

What type of pose are you going for ?

The one I caught on my trapline (only one so far..sob sob!!) I had full Cmounted by Jim Boland in
cochrane....he did an exceptional job...it looks just "****ed off at the World" which is usually the case...I will take a pic and try with my limited skills to post it here but a full mount done correctly sure looks intimidating!!! Jim has a cougar and some other stuff of mine for some time now and I haven't heard from him but he sure knows his animals and is a very gifted artist!! Not cheap though...LOL

Don't mean to be a stickler, but it's not a dog...it's in the weasel family!!

Here is my weasel

I Killed it on a caribou hunt in NWT.My outfitter said it was the largest he had seen harvested in his camp in 25 years.

One of the most unique and beautfiul animals I have ever seen..
