After you have made sure all your gun toting friends have signed its time to start promoting this with non gun owners.

Trudeau Liberals off target again

The problem in Canada is smuggled firearms — estimates range between 80% and 84% of crime guns being smuggled.

So why is the government trying to tell you that they will make you safe by taking rifles away from people who have not broken the law, bringing in more paperwork laws for law-abiding gun owners and leaving gangsters alone?

One of the worst parts is that the government will do this without debate and without releasing any supporting documents.

Researcher Dennis Young asked for documents related to a cost-benefit analysis of gun control measures and was told they could not be released.

Cracked 160,000 tonite, CCFR is at two events in AB this weekend, both in the north half, Calgary has the Sportsman's show and Leth has the gun show on, who knows how many other shows and events are across Canada. Been averaging nearly 3000/day in the last 10 days, 6 more to go, closes on the 15th. Caillin Langman posted a note today saying he could not figure out how they could change Red Flag laws without forcing doctors to breach privacy.

Last night I went through my Facebook friends list and fired off PM’s with the petition link for anyone I know who might be interested. A few had already signed but I managed to confirm with 4 friends who had not seen it and did sign on.

If everyone else could do that it might help to snag lots of firearms folks who like their guns but don’t participate on the AO or CGN forums. I’m one person and got 4 signatures just off the people green-lit on Facebook. If the lot of you did similar, imagine how many more signatures we could get on there.

Roughly 2000 views of this thread, some may be repeats. Let’s imagine 500 people get 4 or more others to sign on. Better yet, let’s imagine 500 of you not only each get 4 others to sign, but encourage them to do the same thing with their friends, now all of a sudden instead of 2000 new signatures on that it snowballs into 10,000, all from saying hello to people you’re already friends with..... Its dirt-simple folks, please message your friends on the matter or share the link on media platforms other than ones like this that are already preaching to the choir. I chose to PM rather than simply share the link because it’s more likely to elicit a response.

Many may look upon the now largest Petition to Government ever in Canada as a direct focus upon the firearm debate in Canada.
Instead it is really a matter of the impending decision as to whether a Minority Government should be allowed to FORCE legislation upon Canadian Citizens rather than openly debating such legislation in the House of Commons.

“Orders in council are really a throwback to the days of governing by decree in which monarchs, despots and, in Canada’s case today, elected governments may dictate to the populace with no regard for process, fairness or legal recourse.”

I urge you all to sign this Petition, share is as widely as you can, and simply say NO to Dictatorship Rule in Canada!!

Thanks In Advance...

An Order in Council is a legislative instrument made by the Governor in Council, meaning the Governor General acting on the advice and recommendation of Cabinet, and is not required to go through the usual Parliamentary process that includes debates and votes in the House and Senate, as well as study at committees.

It’s important to note that according to the Criminal Code, “In making regulations, the Governor in Council may not prescribe any thing to be a prohibited firearm, a restricted firearm, a prohibited weapon, a restricted weapon, a prohibited device or prohibited ammunition if, in the opinion of the Governor in Council, the thing to be prescribed is reasonable for use in Canada for hunting or sporting purposes.”

Cost overruns will likewise end the Liberal government’s latest political albatross – its planned gun confiscations – but not before it wastes at least another $2–5 billion of your tax dollars.

The Trudeau government is far more interested in virtue signalling than it is in protecting Canadians. They trumpet their misguided belief confiscating rifles from licensed gun owners will stop gang violence fuelled by the illegal drug trade.

It won’t. It can’t .

How many here have posted the word 'Done', but still haven't completed the petition signing process ❓

Pass the word along.

It's over and done with now. 174810. It is a milestone in that it is the largest of all. Sad that it isn't double or triple what it is also.

No need for a petition. All we need is a half dozen guys sit on the railroad tracks and that should be the end of the issue.
