Nice clean looking lake, located on a major forestry/oilfield access road in the area, road shouldn't be an issue, it is well maintained. Can't speak to the campground, didn't stay there or drive into it, just stopped there for a break while exploring the area. Good area to take a quad to.

Are there decent ohv trails in the area? I assume you can't stage from the campground. Is there random backcountry camping as well?

Lots of seismic and oilfield roads in that area. Can't speak to the campground staging side of it, but, I would expect that most people out there would have quads with them.

Was there this past weekend. Road was a bit sketchy especially if your hauling a trailer. Campground was beautiful as always, fishing was ok. Dozen pike 2-3lbs.

I would suggest looking at Shiningbank lake. I grew up in Edson, fishing that area. Long lake #2, Bear lake #3... been a few years, but that is my experience. All very close.
