Default coyote leg-hold trapping

I'm preparing for next season coyote leg hold trapping which has been a challenge for me.
I had very little luck this past season with leg hold trapping coyotes. The coyotes would walk by or not at all. I tried the PVC pipe dream sets which consisted of using chopped grass and it didn't work. Some traps were set-off by birds ..the closed traps were congested with the grass clippings and that didn't impress me since the grass chunks interfere with the traps closure.

I'll try the PVC Pipe Dream set again but will use waxed sand.

Halford doesn't stock wax flakes so I will be asking the purchasing department to order some for me. The Snare Shop sells it in 10 lb bags.

There are other trap supply suppliers in the land...

https://canadiancoyotecompany.com/pr...rand-flake-wax

If we don't have it. It will be in shortly... now is the time to ship flake wax, before it gets warm.

I really need to build a new foot trap video. No time last fall... sorry!
I aspire to build one next fall,
