That should seal the deal! Lindholm and Johnny get more points.

First in Pacific....First in Conference....has a good ring to it. 9-1 in last ten games. Not the best game I ever watched but got the job done. Thanks Stockton!

Big win against a good team, specially missing a couple key players. Bring on the Soilers.

Me to, racking up the wins but I still cringe when there is a scramble in front, well and when they take the long shots as well.
So probably him starting again tomorrow??
Would like to see Rittich but we will see.

He needs to play a more controlled game.

I think they have to go with Rittich, give Smith a rest and help Big Save Dave keep his head in the game.

Yes, maybe those three together can get their edge back a bit? And please, Neal, score a goal already! Tomorrow would be a great time to get back on the board!

I think it could be a pretty crusty line. Also give Matty some back up, if there are any shinanagans.

Paluso has been called up. Wonder if he plays tomarrow?
Sure wish I didn’t have to work. Might catch the last few minutes.

Its ok, traditional, things don't blow like what we saw last time when they play in Edmonton. Still going to be glued to me TV though!

The Flames didn't seem to be giving quite 100 percent tonight. Maybe saving some extra rocket fuel for the mitey soilers tomorrow.

Nice! I hope Lucic gives him his shot. This actually reminded me of a comical story.

I grew up playing mostly against, and sometimes with Dennis Bonvie. He was a fighter.

After he made the NHL in Edmonton he told us about one of his first games. They were playing the Wings and he got sent out for a face off. Who should line up beside him? Well, none other than Bob Probert. Dennis, who was probably 19 or 20 at the time, looked at him and said, “Mr Probert, you’re either gonna make me or break me.” Bobbie smiled and gave the kid his shot.

Dennis held his own and managed to eek out about 5 seasons in the NHL and many more in the minors. He always believed that was the ‘moment’ so to speak. Ergo, I hope that Luc gives Peluso his ‘moment’ too.

You make it sounds like he's a rookie and this would be his first tilt. According to dropyourgloves.com, Peluso hasn't lost a fight since 16th January, 2014. Since then he is 16-0-4, taking on the likes of Zach Stortini, Ryan Reaves, Luke Gazdic, Derek Dorsett, and Chris Neil.

Do you wanting Lucic fighting Peluso so there is a chance he isn't playing the next handful of games, making the Oil a better/faster team?

Neat story and photo though.

Flames Farm System is producing.

Lazar is getting pushed further down the depth chart.

Quine
Dube
Mangiapane
Lomberg

None of these guys look out of place.

Then you have Foo who has also scored at the NHL level for the Flames and probably wont get a call-up this year.

Maybe thinking of Ryan Lomberg? Has 10 games under his belt, 5'9", 187 lb, and fought Kassian in preseason. Gutsy, as you're likely aware though, he is suspended so it won't be happening.

I think Prout has also fought Lucic multiple times, so that one might happen. I'd expect a better outcome, from a Flames perspective, if Peluso takes on Lucic and Prout takes on Kassion. Guess we'll see what happens.

Nope. Honestly, the first I'd heard of Peluso was about a month or so back when the FAN960 guys were bitching about him getting called up. Sounds like a tough customer and a tilt is likely inevitable. I'm looking forward to it.

I have a huge soft spot for 'plugs' and goons. Those guys saved my sorry arse more often (barely lol) than they kicked it. I learned through extensive research that while a man can be a lover or a fighter, I'm not especially talented at either! Kinda stuck with the less painful option since hanging 'em up.

I just woke up and checked the standings, 30 games in and Flames are sitting first in the west. I knew I had a lot to drink last night, I had to double check.

Last night was a Glenfiddich night. When the second 1.75L was done, we decided to call it an evening. The first Christmas party of about 10. I'm hurtin this morning and I got hockey later too.

As an Oiler fan, due to the length of time involved, being a product of your environment makes sense.

One of my favorite Flames, The Kraken.
