Hopefully they can put it behind them and keep up the effort. If they can, outshouting the Avalanche 4:1 shouldn't result in a losing effort.

Every time he has to stop a shot I cringe...he looks so rattled out there, even what should be routine looks painful...really, you want to start the .860 goalie instead of the .940 goalie? Really Peters??

I'd love to hear a logical explanation for his reasoning.
It seems they are starting their goalies based on past performances while completely ignoring the present state.

Well, let it ride....4 goals on 14 shots isn't really that bad. He's still in there. No time out.
At least Bennett is showing some heart, I like him. All scrap, no quit. Love how he went straight at Cole with the gloves off, stood up for jank.

What is he still doing between the pipes? 4 Goals on 13 shots? Jesus.. We are taking it to these guys. But its not working because of the lack of a NHL Goalie.
Good scrap. I might have been a little rushed in wanting to trade Bennet. I appreciate the fact he was so angry at the hit.

Wow, Flames making a game of it anyway, despite ol' Leaky. Two goals and it's now 4-3, and a one goal game with 14 minutes to play. Flames have been the better team by far, except for.....that useless Leaky fellow.

Just curious what your thoughts were on that hit in the second period there. I think Jankowski? Tad high but I didn't think 5 min major and a game bad.
Good on Bennett for to beat down Cole for the hit though.
Another aspect the Aves took to us. There was three huge hits on us that we didn't have all night.

Valimaki had the hit that counted tonight, monster to set up Neals goal. And Bennett turned it around with the scrap as far as I'm concerned. Those two get first and second star in my game book.
The Cole hit was maybe a bit questionable...I think player safety is going to have to have a look because of the major.

I'm impressed, sitting fourth in the league with a starter with a 0.871 SA%. Just hope they don't do something dumb like trade for Bob without giving Rittich an actual chance.
