Default One hell of a season!

Tagged out this year, except for my black bear. The year started out unbelievably for me harvesting my first big horn ram, and didn't slow down from there. I shot my first coyote and antelope with a bow this year while down antelope hunting with 3 great friends, and all 4 of us tagged antelope with the bows. My friend Rob took me out elk hunting and I arrowed a nice calf elk. Thanks Rob! I shot my biggest mulie on opening day rifle, and my buddy shot his first moose the same day! My wife shot her first mulie buck this year and her first moose. She also tagged a nice whitie buck and doe. The doe was pretty cool because we had our kids with us. My son went straight up to the doe and poked her right in the eye. He thought it was the coolest thing ever! My buddy Pete and I went looking for some whitie does, and ended up shooting 3 the same day. I ended the rifle season with 3 other great friends, and we all tagged whitetail bucks on the last day. Mine was the last 10 minutes of the day. Then the final icing on the cake was hunting Wainwright with my buddy Pete in the wonderful temperature of about -49 with the wind. It was a cold but fun hunt, ending up with 2 mulie does and a whitetail buck. What a dream season!

Right on Andy. Congrats on a great season.

I always appreciate it when some guys wait until January or February to post about their season - helps to tide us over until next fall.

Well the family certainly won't starve.

The money Daddy saves from not buying meat means more hunting toys for him or the family
