Afternoon in Edmonton
Howdy fellas, we're heading to Edmonton for a couple of hours. We'll be a few minutes north of the West Edmonton Mall. Are there any must see attractions?
I don't want to get home and find out I should have done something while I was there.
I see there is a Reids Fly Shop we'll probably check out. Our pup will possibly enjoy a walk by the river. And we might hit the Value Village to look for some retro ash trays.
We'll also have to find a spot to stop for lunch.
I have no interest in going to the mall.
And if anyone needs something delivered to Red Deer / Calgary area from Edmonton let me know.

A great spot for lunch just north of the mall a few blocks is Jerusalem Shawarma. Outstanding food. Huge portions. Different than your average burger joint.

Great, thanks. We actually saw that place while searching the area on Google maps. Shawarma is good food!

My Fries is west and north of the big mall, it's a poutine place.
We stop there anytime we come to town now.
It's an all gluten free too, if that matters to you. If that doesn't matter to you, don't let it scare you away. Also, they air bake their fries, which is probably healthier, but don't let that scare you away either; they are fantastic.

Tundra supply is a few minutes north of the mall.
It's a nice little gunshop.

The shawarma was excellent. I would recommend that place to anyone. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely go back. Thanks again!

Afternoon in Edmonton
The best thing to see in Edmonton, is it disappearing in your rear view mirror as leaving leaving town.
