Default 110 Mulie Help!!

Got drawn this year for my 110 Mulie Buck!!! Pretty excited to take my boys out with me (5 yrs and 3 yrs). If there are any landowners that would give me permission, I would greatly appreciate it!!!! Any tips out there?

I might as well start this or others are gona lol!best thing to do is get ahold of county maps, fill up the truck with fuel and load up the boys and go an scout!knock on doors get familiar with the area an what areas look promicing..I spent hrs on the phone last yr in a new zone getting permission on dozens an dozens of quarters only to go down after that to find out 90% of it was bald pasture land an not good mulie habitat..go an scout..

Default Not smart.....

You wait a few years to draw this tag and then ask on public forum about permission and tips with only 5 days prior to rifle season opening. That's amazingly shortsighted and disorganized.
Furthermore I don't see 3 and 5 year olds doing much walking. Training the road hunters early - way to go!

So your saying that he should'nt introduce his boys to hunting because they are too young to walk, give your head a shake man my dad was taking me hunting even before i could walk. Some people these days dont have the time to properly organize there hunts so they turn to this forum advise whats the big deal isnt this what this forum is all about. Always someone with something to say.

Pretty uncalled for and very un classy. You dont know the first thing about the fellow or his kids Or what they might or might not be capable of.
Besides , the zone they are heading for pretty much has a road every mile, so mostly spot and stock from the truck

Stay south of pincher for sure. Lots of roads to glass from and some good vantage points. Knock on a few doors as has been said earlier. I drive the area quite regular for work and play and I have seen quite a few bucks in the zone. Nothing of monstrous size but some good bucks and in some areas that would make a easier hunts with sons. Do some scouting and let us know how you do! good luck!
