Default Electric Filleting Knife

Just purchased some whitefish from a commercial fisherman and now have some work ahead of me. Would like your opinions on what knives (electric) or (battery) operated are worth their value. Thank-you for your replies in advance

Default Fillet knife

I got a bubba electric fillet knife for Christmas and love it. Ran it through perch walleye and white fish without missing a beat. Highly recommend it

I have the Rapala Heavy Duty Electric Fillet Knife. Its an absolute tank. Cuts through anything and I totally love it.

I got the corded version because I've never had much luck with battery operated tools, but you can get the battery model if you like. I can plug it in at home or into the socket in the back of my 4Runner if I need to.

4.6 out of 5 stars on Amazon 926 ratings, can't argue much with that.

Exclamation Rapala or Bubba

Thanks Vapor for your reply. Rapala certainly has its reputation for filleting knives. So now its a toss-up. Shall I go with the electric or Battery type filleting knives. Anyone else out there that have had issues with the Battery type.

I’ve had a bubba cordless knife since august. I love it. The handle is a little big if you have small hands is the only compliant I’ve heard from others that have tried it. I have friends with the Rapala. I prefer the bubba. Find the flex blades much better and very easy to get quick and good with. Very little waste. A battery lasts a lot of fish. Would buy again in a heartbeat
