Shot this bush buck last Saturday morning at 50 yards on crownland near Cold Lake. He seemed like he was in full rut, wasn't even bothered by me and my dad's presence, just kept staring at us lol. Anyways it was definitely worth the 6 hr drive all the way from Calgary.

Got out with an hour left of legal light. Game plan worked perfectly.
Lucky hat strikes again!

Folded her on the spot without so much as a twitch. Broke both legs and pulverized the heart in the process.

Thanks bud

We picked up this set of sheds literally 5 min before rounding the corner and spotting my bull!! Obviously we had to drop the sheds due to carrying my caribou out but did manage to get back to the area a couple days later and bring one side home with us.

Lots of grouse, rabbits, pheasants, huns, and a bear too

The southern wmu's paid off for us big time this year. Glad we switched from the north areas

Well finally figured out Tapatalk. Here’s the pictures from my moose and elk this year. Elk had a broken antler on one side which I thought was different. Had the chance at another one but this Elk walked perfectly broadside to me at about 350 yards. I practice to 500 yards and know my rifle well enough to make the shot with a stable rest. So that’s what I did. The rest is history. Elk picture was taken after I started quartering due to my phone battery dying in the cold. So sorry for that but it was -18 the day I shot him. Thanks again to everyone who helped with my hunts this year. The family will be eating good for awhile.

There ya go thats more like it! Might score pretty good if the left side is as good as the right. Cant see it very good against your jacket. That's a good buck 👏

Had some luck today. Bucks were tutting HARD and as a result made it easy on me. Had Antlered and Antlerless in my pocket. Missed on a doe, and couldn’t seem to walk anywhere without bumping deer.

This fella was paired with another buck, and didn’t give me time to drop to prone, so 80 yards off hand with the .270 and he made. 20 yards. Clipped the top of the heart.

Drag out was from a coulee bottom and man, I wish I had a side by side or snow machine on a day like today.
