Default Millarville Elk

Hi everyone. I wanted to ask where abouts do the elk hang out by Millarville. Ive herd there there somewhers. I may go out there this weekend and go for a drive.

they mostly hang out on properties that do not give hunting permision

I've been in the area a lot lately and honestly I haven't seen any elk.

That's the only way to do it Pops. Very little public land with no access restrictions. You need to get out there, figure out where you want to hunt and get permission.

* I had permission for coyotes on 4+ sections of cattle ranch in Millarville... I asked about elk in April/2016 (end of "coyote season") after 4 months of successful predator control, and mysteriously he wouldn't answer my calls for permission the following year (last winter). And there was a small satellite herd of ~10 elk on his property constantly.

This is a yearly thing for you eh?

I could tell you a landowner in that area that regularly has elk on his place, but, guess what, I won’t.
